Hello Dear Book Loving Friends!

Happy Friday!

How did it happen?  It's almost May!  And time to celebrate the mothers and grandmothers in our world.  Of course, I would argue that one of the best bits of motherhood is reading with your little ones, so you might want to consult our selections of 10 Amazing Picture Books About Moms for Mother's Day! or 10 Great Picture Books about Grandmothers! for a few ideas.  We'd love to pack a collection to send to your favorite Mama or Grandmama!

Are you still looking for gift ideas for Mother's Day? (ahem, like me?)  I'm always on the lookout for businesses that give back (like mine!), and would love to highlight a few awesome ideas:

Bombas socks

Not All Princesses Dress in Pink

I have joked that I would love to be "The Bombas of Children's Picture Books (hey, if you're gonna dream, dream big, amiright?).  These adult Disney Princess socks are kinda inspired!  They would be perfect paired with a copy of Not All Princesses Dress in Pink.

Have you discovered the line of mommy and me dresses from Pink Chicken? Adorable!!  And bonus: they donate one dress for every 12 they sell!  Might I suggest you pair your dresses with a copy of I Had a Favorite Dress

When I'm in NYC, I love to stop by the tiny Laughing Man Coffee Shop, owned by Hugh Jackman, for a perfect flat white. Bonus: this tiny but mighty shop supports coffee farming communities by investing in programs that clear the way to health, growth, and success for coffee farmers and their families.  And what mom doesn't love coffee?  I'm thinking a pound of coffee would be lovely paired with a copy of Nana in the City

Every bookish mom needs pencils in her life, and we love these from Social Goods: Mom You Were Right. (amen to that).  And these: Add to Resume: Raising Humans tees.  The proceeds from these sales support Racial Justice and Women's Rights.

Really, pair these items with any book we sell for an amazing gift :)
